My History with Object Stream Community

Object Stream Community, a project ran by I_Dan_K, Annex.j, ManuelYBF and Cozzmoyo, is something that I have been affiliated with since its closed beta launched access in April 2026. I'm not gonna disclose anything about the project, as Dan stated that I have to maintain secrecy about the contents. I can state the history I have with the project, with some of the background of it.
Background
To better understand why Object Stream exists, we have to go back to mid-2025. The sentiment of a new social media platform had emerged when everything for the Internet reached its worst upon the UK's Online Safety Act entered into force. Following this, various platforms have engaged in ID checks to verify peoples' age just to access said platform. It became obvious for why governments wanted this: Control. YouTube did it for the UK, not for the people.
BUC_EES, a former friend of mine, scrapped an early idea for an object show platform. The same happened with FiberBriver although it lasted longer. These two were announced the day before YouTube implemented their age verification system to the US. Through FiberBriver's now abandoned project, objectshow.tv, I wanted to follow in the development of it.
Discovery
On the night of April 20, 2026, I typed objectshow.tv and was redirected to the objectstreamcommunity.com website. I immediately tweeted about it and later made an Objectshowpedia page. Surprisingly, it didn't take long for me to document it even further as the website was (probably accidentally) launched to the public on April 25. I made a wiki page on another page, bringing more attention to the website. I_Dan_K contacted me on Discord and they made me a beta tester.
I'm not really sure who is the first beta tester. It could be either TridAnimationz, FiberBriver or even me.
My views
People don't seem to see the purpose of the website entirely. The website is for people to find object shows in an easier and centralized way. Think about it, YouTube's algorithm is very unfair and inconsistent and one could easily get lost trying to find an object show and find something else that captures their mind. To me its very beneficial for Objectshowpedia, my OSC wiki website. More shows, more pages, more attention.
UPDATE FROM JULY 5, 2026.
So apparently I now think of it as a bypass for British users, especially those who don't know about or can't use Proton VPN, to find object shows rather than be forced to be fed state-sponsored propaganda garbage by the UK considering they want to take control of YouTube's algorithm.
